Heads of My Enemies Statement
The Heads of My Enemies is a series of ten exaggerated portraits of real persons known to the artist at different points in her life. Each piece is an expression of the actions or behaviors of the individuals and how the artist was emotionally affected by them at the time. Some of the busts resemble, in certain features, the real-life people they depict. In other cases they represent only the base behaviors which caused the artist distress or unease in their presence.
